oke kali ini kita akan belajar gimana sih cara paling mudah membuat recount text yang simpel sih. Mungkin dari kalian pada belum paham tentang recout text So tidak usah lama-lama langsung aja aku kasih tau kalian tentang pengertian,fungsi,dan jenis-jenis recount text di bawah ini ya.

1. What is Recount Text?

Recount text is a text that retells events or events in the past.  The story can be in the form of action or activity before someone writes the text.

Recount text according to experts:

1) Suparno (2008) expressed his opinion regarding writing, namely: placing graphic symbols that represent language that is understood by other people.

2) According to Pardiyono (2007) recount text is a type of text that tells the reader about something that has happened or recounts past events.

3) Anderson & Anderson (2002) recount text is a text that tells a number of past events in a certain time series sequentially.

2. The Purpose of Recount Text

The goal is to provide information about an incident to the reader, or entertain the reader.

Purpose of recount text according to experts:

1) Komaidi (2008) stated that the purpose of recount text is to generate curiosity and train sensitivity in seeing the surrounding reality.

2) Anderson & Anderson (2002) the purpose of recount text is to retell events that have occurred within a certain time and usually these events are written in a structured time sequence.

3) Derewianka (2003) expressed his opinion about the purpose of recount text, namely to record and describe past experiences by retelling these events in a systematic sequence.

3. Generic Structure of Recount Text

1) orientation is information about the character or character, location, time of occurrence, etc.

2) Series of Events is a series of events regarding the events/events they experienced (the essence of the recount text).

3) Reorientation is a summary and conclusion of the whole story as well as telling the ending (sad/happy).

4. Expressions/sentences of Recount Text

1) Even though it has the same purpose as narrative text to entertain readers, there are still differences, guys.  In the recount text, there is no conflict told by the author.

2) There is always a story sequence.  For example, like the example above, that is, there is the first day, the second day, and so on.

3) Recount text uses past tense or past sentences.  Examples such as the use of verb 3 went, woke up, departed, burned, ate and so on.

4) Recount text uses part of speech adverbs and adverbs to explain time, place and method.  Examples include last October, Bandung, On the third day, at the park and so on.

5) Recount text uses part of speech conjunctions and time connectives to sort the events and events in the story so that a unified text is formed.  Examples are and, after, the, that, before and so on.

5. Types of recount text

1) Personal Recount

Tells about the author's personal experience. It includes things like diary writing, but it's also what we do whenever we tell someone a story about something that happened to us.

2) Factual Recount

Factual recount text is a story to present reports related to events that occurred based on facts (actually happened) and are not fixated on personal events, it could also be the events of other people. The purpose of a factual account is to inform (rather than entertain) the reader about a particular event.

3) Imaginative Recount

Imaginative recount is a text that is usually used by someone as a story from an imaginative event that is experienced by someone. The purpose of an imaginative recount is to help the reader understand an event by providing a fictional recount that's as true-to-life as possible.

4) Procedural recount

Procedural recounts aren’t very common in English lessons - they’re more for scientists. In fact, they’re most often used to describe an experiment so that it can be replicated by others. Because of this, the language needs to be exact.

5) Literary recount

This kind of recount writing is all about entertainment. They can be about fictional or real events and involve real or fictional characters.
